Alexander Mylavarapu, MD, accepted the position of Hospice & Palliative Team Physician in 2020. Dr. Mylavarapu is responsible for the medical care and treatment of patients, and providing medical direction and support to the members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure that patients and families receive the highest quality care.
Dr. Mylavarapu obtained his degree at Sri Ramachandra University in India and completed his Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship and his Geriatric Medicine and Extended Care Fellowship at the University of Nevada – Reno, School of Medicine. In his free time, Dr. Mylavarapu enjoys designing and handcrafting electric guitars and basses.
